THOMASÂ LE
I am a Product Designer with a passion for building products that help empower people to live healthier lives through technologies like wearables and AI/ML. I believe that as health data becomes increasingly accessible, people will need better tools to interpret it and translate it into actionable lifestyle changes.
Over the past 3 years I worked on several design projects with the 23andMe Design team to shape the direction of our product and refine our design systems. By conducting extensive product audits, I identified inconsistencies and opportunities to improve our design system, resulting in the creation of more cohesive and scalable frameworks. Additionally, I partnered with Product to explore opportunities for growth as we worked to integrate 23andMe with our new clinical Lemonaid services.
In my latest role as a Systems Engineer at 23andMe, my speciality was using data and automation to optimize business processes and ensure regulatory compliance for our medical device. I spearheaded the creation and continual improvement of internal tools, leading their end-to end development by conducting user research with internal stakeholders, designing user flows, drafting user requirements, conducting validation, and creating documentation. These tools were used across the organization by product and engineering to help streamline their processes.
During my 12 year career at 23andMe, I worked in multiple roles at the company starting with Customer Care, which has made me keenly empathetic and knowledgeable of customers’ needs. My diverse experience showcases my adaptability and ability to navigate multiple roles in a fast-paced work environment.
